zkBob is a Multi-Chain Stablecoin with optional privacy features.
Why We Are Hunting This
Governance control over the zkBob protocol and BOB stablecoin is currently held by the zkBob team, however, BOB DAO is imminent and core protocol controls will eventually transition to it. Criteria for membership in this DAO are currently under review, however the zkBob team intends to hand over control to a “dedicated and diverse group of projects and individuals.” Airdrops are excellent community coordination tools and we believe that tokens will be dropped to early zkBob users in an effort to align their incentives with the future success of the protocol.

- Choose an account creation method, i.e. an existing web3 wallet or a zkBob secret phrase
- Sign the confirmation message or store your secret seed phrase safely to proceed
- Create and verify a password for the zkBob app
- Wait for the “Loading zkAccount” message to confirm account creation

- Sign the approval transaction with your wallet to approve the use of your funds
