Airdrop Guide: Zora

Zora is a free, user-agnostic, permissionless NFT marketplace protocol.

Why We Are Hunting This

One potential route for decentralizing control of the Zora Network would be to follow in the footsteps of generalized L2s and distribute tokens via airdrop. Should the protocol aim to truly scale and become maximally decentralized, it is likely that an airdrop will eventually become a component of the protocol’s roadmap.

1. Connect your wallet to the Zora Bridge interface
2. If you haven’t already, add the Zora Network to your wallet when prompted
3. Use the provided interface to input how much ETH you want to bridge over
4. Press “Bridge” and confirm the deposit transaction with your wallet

Difficulty: Easy | Time: 5 min

1. Connect your wallet to the Zora frontend
2. Press the “Create” button and select the “Edition” option in the sidebar
3. Use the ensuing interface to input your desired title for the edition and your chosen ticker symbol
4. Add a description for your NFT
5. Upload the file of your NFT, e.g. a JPG or MP4 file – 100MB file size or less is recommended
6. Set your NFT’s price, edition size, and start/end time
7. Optional: Input a per-wallet mint limit and royalty percentage
8. Select the Zora Network from the available network options
9. Click the “Create” button and complete the creation transaction with your wallet

Collect a Zorb NFT

Difficulty: Easy | Time: 2 mins

1. Navigate to the Zorbs collection page on OpenSea
2. Connect your wallet to the OpenSea platform
3. Press “Buy Now” on your desired Zorb
4. Complete the purchase transaction with your wallet
